If you are At Market with Opportunities Hub

Peter Campbell Updated by Peter Campbell

Similarly to Quick Quotes, process template controls actions before publication can happen. However after the Planning phase in which the opportunity was configured, it can now be published using the In‑Progress dropdown:

This does not mean the opportunity is live, the advertise date and the submission date control when suppliers can see the opportunity and when they can submit responses.

Selecting the Publish opportunity button creates this wizard to confirm the details before confirming publication:

Once the opportunity has been published, two additional tabs are created under Opportunity for the Sourcing Activity:

And the suppliers on the invitation list will receive email notifications about the opportunity:

Additional Tabs

The additional tabs that have been created allow users to provide updates and communications surrounding the opportunity that has been published.

The Addenda tab gives system users the ability to publish changes to the Opportunity to the Hub where it is visible to suppliers. Further details on this process can be found here.

Alternatively, the Opportunities Hub gives suppliers the ability to submit clarifications, which can be actioned in the Clarifications tab. Further details on this process can be found here.

What will the supplier see?

Suppliers will access the Opportunities Hub directly and so will have a list view of all the opportunities that have been posted.

They can select into specific opportunities that they are interested in which will give them a platform to review details, submit clarifications, see the addenda and also submit a bid in response.

Further details on the supplier view of this market approach method can be found here.

Responses

When a response is submitted, the suppliers tab automatically begins to be populated:

The details of the submissions are blocked until the response date is reached or the Evaluation stage begins

However, the compliance page of the supplier response is always visible and so can be seen at this stage if desired.

New Suppliers

When suppliers are responding to your opportunity, there may be suppliers who you have not dealt with before and so are 'unverified'. This is indicated by the symbol to the left of the supplier name in the Suppliers tab.

The action buttons on the right-hand side allows the user to view the supplier record that has been created and review it:

The record is only made up of a general tab and a Contacts & Stakeholders tab before the supplier has been verified.

Select the Manage button in the top right corner of the record to either verify the supplier, or delete them.

Verifying the supplier adds all the other artefact tabs and updates the the icon for the supplier in the opportunity's Supplier tab:
