Assigning Delegate Roles

Assigning Delegate Action permissions is actioned in the Team management module.

Select the required Team and navigate to the Delegates Tab.

From here you can select the Delegate Name and the corresponding role to assign to the user. This will have been been preconfigured in the Delegate Actions tab of the Configuration module.

Remember to save this page before moving on.

Only users that have already been made a part of this team in the Team Members tab can be selected in the Delegate Name field.

Once this has been completed, this user will be able to complete the action for all contracts that have this team as the Primary Team.

It is not uncommon for these permissions to be required for the site as a whole.

To enable this, a new Approvals team can be created. This team will have to be listed at the top of the Team hierarchy, making it the parent team of all other teams and parent teams (So that the permissions set up within this team, filter down into every other team in the system).

Any new teams that are created after this point will have to fall under the Approvals team in the hierarchy too.

The required users should be added to this team and given the Team Member role before being assigned the delegate permissions. This is so they don’t have edit access to all contracts in the system by default.
