Closing the Sourcing Activity and Setting up Contract Management

Peter Campbell Updated by Peter Campbell

Once all contracts have been created, navigate to the Sourcing Checklist tab and complete any remaining actions listed there.

The "Not applicable" option is available should the checklist item not be needed for the activity.

When these items have all been completed, the In-Progress dropdown will show as Completed, and the option to complete the Sourcing Activity will be enabled.

Once ready, select this button and close the activity.

Users should navigate back to the Contracts section within the Outcome tab of the Sourcing Activity and open each of the newly created contract records.

Within these records, users must assign the appropriate Contract Type and save the page.

This ensures that the correct process template is applied to the contract and enables the Contract Owner to manage the contract effectively.

Contract users can now begin populating the record and moving it towards an Executed status, as outlined in our Contract Admin & Information Management section.
