Data Governance Dashboard

The Data Governance dashboard is where your Supplier & Contract Management journey begins. This dashboard has been designed to highlight the richness of your data and provides tools to help you progress towards more comprehensive records.

At the start of your journey, the gauges may appear quite empty, with low numbers. However, by using this dashboard to identify areas that need attention, you can pinpoint missing information in your supplier and contract records and fill in these gaps. This will enhance your data richness and move the gauges in the right direction.

Overview

At the top of the overview tab, purple number tiles display total system figures and targets for the gauges below, enabling comparisons of progress across different focus areas on the journey to a data-rich supplier and contract base.

The gauges display the current data richness. Hovering over a gauge reveals a tooltip that identifies improvement areas, helping ensure more records meet the requirements of each section.

In the example above, you will see that only three suppliers have key fields populated. Hovering over the gauge, the tooltip shows that this is because 39 supplier records do not include Primary Contacts. When this data has been added to the supplier records, the number of 'Suppliers with Key Fields Populated' will increase.

Gauge Deep Dives

The focus areas for these gauges are organised into separate tabs. This allows users to view detailed information about the missing values. Each tab includes URLs for easy navigation to the records with missing data, making it easier to add the information.

Data Extraction

There are dedicated tabs to allow the user to extract all the current data in the system. The structure used here aligns with the Data Migration Template document, which uses the format required by our Data Migration Tool. We have tables for:

  • Supplier data
  • Supplier Supporting Data
  • Contract Data
  • Team Data
  • Master Agreement Data
There are instructional textboxes specific to each tab’s content. Be sure to read them carefully before proceeding with any tasks.

Each of these tabs has a table/tables to mimic the Data Migration Tool and should be used to extract the current data in the system. To utilise these tabs effectively, export the tables into Excel, update the missing/outdated data in the sheet (instead of doing it manually in every record) and then pass these to your OneAdvanced Consultant who will utilise our Data Migration Tool and update these records in bulk for you.
