Onboarding Management Plans

Peter Campbell Updated by Peter Campbell

Within the standard system, we have built management plans focussed around achieving different outcomes. One of these outcomes is complete supplier onboarding and produce a data rich record for your supplier.

The onboarding management plans will typically be applied to a supplier via their categorisation during the supplier record creation process.

Onboarding

The onboarding management plans in the standard system (Named "Standard" and "Enhanced") have been designed to facilitate you in filling a supplier record with as much information as possible. These will typically be automatically applied to a supplier, based on the supplier's categorisation. These management plans are made up of activities and classifications.

The activities that make up these management plans include actions to send Information Request Form assessments to the supplier, assign Classifications to the supplier and to attach Insurance and Certification policies.

These actions have been added to the onboarding management plan to ensure the information you are holding is provided by the customer as so you are holding accurate data against the record, to ensure the appropriate tags have been added to aid in supplier segmentation in reporting and to ensure you are capturing the compliance of your suppliers, meaning you aren't vulnerable to increased liability exposure as a result of a supplier's non-compliance.

While assigning classifications has been included in the activities for this onboarding plan, there is also a section of it dedicated to populating specific classifications, so the user can assign these easily within the Workspace tab of a supplier record instead of having to add them to the record individually, using the dropdown within the Classification tab.

The data populated over the course of this management plan will be reflected in the Supplier Onboarding Dashboard, within the Analytics module, which can be used to visualise the progress for each supplier in their onboarding journey.
