Approving Variation Approval Requests

After a variation approval request is submitted, the selected approver will receive an email notification prompting them to take action on the contract.

Clicking on the View Item link in the email will bring the user directly to the Variation within the record where they can action the request:

Selecting the Action button will display a pop-up window with the same description as seen by the Requester.

This window contains a dropdown to complete the action with the options that were configured in Delegate Actions (In this example, they can approve or reject the request).

This will update the status on the variation and, if approved, will allow the requester to apply the variation to the contract.

Once the request has been actioned, the requester will receive an email to inform them of this:
