How to Trigger a Process Template

Process Templates need to be associated to Contract Types.

Navigate to Contract Data within the Configuration module

Select Contract Types followed by the specific contract type

To set a default Process Template for that Contract type, scroll to the Default contract process template field and select the desired Process Template from the dropdown:

Users can refine their conditions for when Process Templates should be applied further so that contracts with different value ranges within this Contract Type, have different Process Templates assigned.

This is configured in the Process Template Setup section of the selected Contract Type (Below the Default contract process template dropdown).

Selecting the Add more button will enable the conditions to be defined:

By default, the system will assume the first range begins at £0 and allows the user to set up a max value and the Process Template that should be applied for this range.

When multiple ranges need to be defined, the Min value of the more recently created range will start at the Max value of the range above.

Any value of contract not covered by these ranges will have the default Process Template applied to them when created.

Once this configuration has been completed, save this page and from this point any contract of this type that gets created will have the configured Process Template applied to it.
